Expect a deep blend of medieval instruments, ethnic soundscapes, and driving electronic energy. This for sure wont be your typical EDM mix in the slightest. Besides his favorites going from DnB to Psy and Dub, you can also expect bands like Heilung, Ummet Ozcan, and even some Metal. For well over a decade, Vogelfrey have been performing on stages across Germany and beyond. Since their early days in the 2004s, they’ve grown into a force recognized throughout the folk metal scene. Their violin‑driven fire, theatrical storytelling, and mischievous stage presence have earned them a loyal following that thrives on the less serious side of medieval energy. This Wolf brings a soundscape you won’t hear anywhere except here or at Dunkelfelltanz. DJ Ketago will play an Ensemble of Dark Electro and Industrial from Gothic Dungeons, specially tailored to Winters Embrace - think hard and pounding like Combichrist, Dancefloor Bangers like Eisenfunk, and some weird, nasty and noisy Tracks for the Connaisseurs. Don’t be surprised if his sound turns your fur a shade darker, makes you reach for sunglasses indoors, or awakens your inner cape‑wearing creature of the night. A dark vibe that leaves a mark and fits Winter’s Embrace perfectly.

Prepare yourselves — the second day of Winter’s Embrace is about to descend into the wasteland. Shadowbane, Hamburg’s Post‑Apocalyptic Power Metal Band, join the lineup. They are united with the Ballroom Collective, which is a big local Metal Community DJ Fuchs is also in. Shadowbane deliver stories of nuclear ruin, survival, and the last sparks of humanity. They still might share a few radioactive shots with you. With a new female front singer leading their charge, they’re crafting and recreating material, that promises to hit harder than ever. They’re eager to step into our world, meet our community, and likely create nuclear fluffpits. They even lend their drum set to our overworked animals — true wasteland kindness. Shadowbane will be on stage at the begining of Saturday.

DJ Fjordy is back at Winter’s Embrace We’re happy to welcome DJ this wolf once again to Winter’s Embrace. His sets blend harmonic electronic sounds with guitar‑driven classics, mixing modern tracks with nostalgic favorites in a way that feels natural and keeps the dancefloor moving. How it all started Fjordy’s DJ journey began 15 years ago at the very first NFD. A spontaneous moment at the open DJ console sparked his curiosity — and that spark turned into a long‑lasting passion. Where he has performed Over the years, he has played at many well‑known events, including: NFD, HFD, LFD, Berlin Furdance, 2Dance Conventions such as EF and NFC Two sets at the Purple Clouds Festival His musical influences The ’80s and ’90s shaped his taste the most. From the synth‑driven sound of the ’80s to the Eurodance era of the ’90s. We’re genuinely glad to have him with us again and look forward to a banging evening together.
